Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 August 2026

The short version

Use WWonder to find and keep words. Do not attack it, resell it, or use it to hurt anyone. We will try to keep it working and honest. Either of us can walk away.

Your account

You need one to use the app. Keep access to your email, because that is how you get in. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You must be 13 or older.

The words

Entries are written by an AI model. They will sometimes be wrong. An etymology may be plausible and false; a definition may miss a shade of meaning. Do not rely on WWonder for anything that matters legally, medically, or academically — check a scholarly dictionary.

If you find an entry that is wrong or offensive, flag it. That is the fastest way it gets fixed.

Entries are shared across all users and are not yours exclusively, even for a word you were first to look up. Your collection — which words you kept — is yours.

Fair use

There are limits on how many new words can be generated per account per hour and per month. They exist because each one costs real money. Normal use will not reach them.

Do not: - automate or scrape the app - try to extract the underlying prompts or model instructions - use it to generate abusive or illegal content - resell access, or pass your account to someone else

We can suspend an account that does these things.

Availability

This is early software run by one person. It may break, change, or be unavailable. Features may disappear. We provide it as-is, without warranty.

Ending it

Delete your account whenever you like, from Settings. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why where we can.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using WWonder. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

The laws of the State of New York, United States.
